The Industry & Stakeholder Body (ISB) is a group of subject matter experts that originate from industry & recognized stakeholder organizations worldwide, and works in partnership with the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS).The ISB is a successor to the Stakeholder Consultation Body (SCB).The ISB represents interests of its Members of the General Assembly at JARUS meetings and in JARUS work groups & focus groups to enable the views of Members to be presented to JARUS leadership.
The ISB supports JARUS by providing experts, on a voluntary and non-compensated basis, to serve on JARUS work groups & focus groups, and by providing its expertise and perspective to JARUS leadership and at JARUS meetings and with respect to JARUS documents.The ISB also ensures that documents and other information developed by JARUS are made available to all Members, to promote industry comments in internal and external consultation. In this respect, the ISB works in partnership with JARUS.The ISB interacts on all levels within the JARUS organization and acts as a forum of the stakeholder interests to enable their views to be represented and discussed in an open and constructive manner to facilitate the establishment of balanced and consolidated JARUS deliverables.
